These meetings as well as others allow Prairie Township to be a part of the decision making process for the entire county and region. My four years as your Trustee and 43 Years with the City of Columbus, Development, Human Services and Recreation and Parks Departments (COAAA), have given me the experience, education and dedication to public service that I now use as your Prairie Township Trustee. Prairie township needs to recognize area businesses, support them with township purchases and listen to the concerns they have. Strategic Planning Prairie Township continues to plan for the future. The township works to set direction, create goals and make decisions on how we reach those goals. Township planning addresses resident concerns and involves the residents through open meetings. This puts control of our facilities back into the hands of our residents. On the water side, our never ending nightmare continues, Strong resident voices and turnout at the public meeting worked to reduce the proposed rate increase from the County and renewed discussion between the City and County for the City to take over water and sewer service.
